Our Mission
The Club has been created to encourage and nurture in our students a love for learning about gardening and nature throughout the school year, and to give students’ families and friends an opportunity to be able to participate in the experience.
It also aims to facilitate:
1. A practical educational resource for teaching topics relevant to the school curriculum.
2. An extra, outdoor classroom/meeting room for students & staff.
3. A location for recess & lunch activities for students.
4. Production items for:
- school art projects
- classroom projects: for example, Mother’s Day gifts
- decorating the school, especially seasonal items (for Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc.)
- sale at the Dilley Carnival & Auction, and other fund-raising events.
